Videos Deleted by NBC

Posted by TiTcH On June - 27 - 2009

NBC have been right tards because they have banned my videos so the videos arent on site for the moment.

This just pisses me off since i tried to contact them 4 times before the show even started to get approval and they were just a bunch of lazy fuckers not to email me back.

They have banned two of my youtube channels with a combined subscriber rate of well over 5000. Takes the piss.

I will replace the videos in due course.

Sorry for the inconveniences

‘America’s Got Talent’ needs a Boyle

Posted by TiTcH On June - 25 - 2009

From MyParkMagazine:

‘America’s Got Talent’ has shed millions of viewers due to the lack of a ‘Susan Boyle’ type contestant.

The US talent show - which features Piers Morgan, David Hasselhoff and Sharon Osbourne on the judging panel -saw ratings slump from 12.8 million to 11.3 million, the lowest premiere episode ever on Tuesday (23.06.09).

Critics blamed the lack of an unconventional but high quality act such as the Scottish singer, who came second on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.

People magazine moaned: “There was no Susan Boyle moment.”

USA Today added: “The show is steering clear of trying to duplicate the Boyle effect.”

Scottish spinster Susan - dubbed the Hairy Angel because of her bizarre first audition appearance - became a global star after her initial audition of ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ was watched by over 100 million people on the internet.

The 48-year-old singer was due to jet out to America to star on the US version of the show, but her appearance was axed amid concerns for her health.

Following her shock loss in the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ final, Susan spent five days in the Priory rehabilitation clinic after collapsing.

Her appearances on the promotional UK tour for the show have been sporadic, with her missing several scheduled dates.

Susan Boyle may get a spot on America’s Got Talent

Music mogul Simon Cowell has revealed that singing sensation Susan Boyle would get a spot on America’s Got Talent provided she wins at the Britain’s Got Talent show.

Cowell, 49, also said that the spot is guaranteed to anyone who wins ITV1’s hit talent show.

“I would say to anybody who won the British show that we guarantee them a spot on the American show. I think that’s a great incentive. So if it is Susan, yes,” the Sun quoted him as saying.

Should she win the British show, Boyle, 48, will have to face Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and David Hasselhoff as judges on America’s Got Talent. (ANI)

America’s Got Talent 2009 to Air June 23rd

Posted by TiTcH On May - 7 - 2009

NBC has announced that the fourth season of America’s Got Talent will premiere over the course of two nights on Tuesday, June 23 at 9PM ET/PT and Wednesday, June 24 at 9PM ET/PT.

Similar to last season, America’s Got Talent will feature acts performing for home viewers’ votes with the ultimate winner receiving a $1 million prize.

While David Hasselhoff, Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan will return to comprise the show’s celebrity judge panel, actor and comedian Nick Cannon will replace Jerry Springer as the show’s fourth-season host.

The 28-year-old Cannon began his career in 1998 at age 16 when he was featured on Nickelodeon’s All That before starring in The Nick Cannon Show in 2002. In 2006, he premiered MTV’s Nick Cannon Presents Wild’n Out, which became the network’s highest rated comedy program for four consecutive seasons.

Springer had served as the host of America’s Got Talent’s last two seasons after replacing first-season host Regis Philbin. He announced in February that he was leaving the show because of commitments to The Jerry Springer Show as well as a stage production of Chicago in London.

NBC renewed America’s Got Talent last August prior to Neal E. Boyd, a 32-year-old insurance-salesman-turned-opera-singer from Sikesron, MO, becoming America’s Got Talent’s third-season champion.

In addition to America’s got Talent’s fourth-season premiere, NBC also announced that it will premiere I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, a new revival of the celebrity U.K. reality series that previously aired on ABC in 2003, on June 1, and Great American Road Trip, a new reality competition that will feature seven families competing in challenges at American landmarks, on July 1.

America’s Got Talent is produced by FremantleMedia North America and Simon Cowell’s SYCO Television, with Cowell, Cecile Frot-Coutaz, Jason Raff, James Sunderland and Scott St. John serving as executive producers.
